Unmatched Audio & Video Production
At Stage One, our recording studio stands as a cutting-edge hybrid facility, crafted to meet the demands of both analog and digital audio and video production. The innovative design of our acoustically adjustable tracking room, completely isolated from the control room, ensures unparalleled recording quality. With a team of seasoned engineers, sound designers, and videographers, we bring decades of expertise in music production, business media, audiobooks, sound effects, and film voice-overs to every project.
Prestine Acoustics and Superior Isolation
At Stage One, the separation between our tracking room and control room is achieved through an advanced tri-wall system with tri-paned windows, offering exceptional acoustic isolation. These expansive panes of soundproof glass provide crystal-clear visibility, ensuring seamless visual communication during sessions. Whether you're recording voice-overs using our 13' video projection or tracking vocals with your band, you'll always have an unobstructed line of sight, making the recording process smooth and efficient.
The tracking room features three-sided, rotatable panels with absorption, reflection, and diffusion properties, along with a ceiling with adjustable panels. This setup allows for precise control over the acoustic environment, enabling you to tailor the sound to your exact needs, whether you desire a warm, reflective sound or a more controlled, absorbent atmosphere.
Embracing the Best of Analog and Digital Recording
At Stage One, our "hybrid" recording studio bridges the gap between the rich heritage of analog sound and the cutting-edge advancements of digital technology. Over the past century, recording technology has evolved dramatically, with the last 30 years marking a significant shift from analog to digital. While digital plugins can closely mimic analog gear, there's still a distinct quality in analog that many professionals and audiophiles crave. That's why we offer both—analog recording on 2″ and 1/2″ tape alongside the latest high-resolution digital formats. Our studio is equipped with vintage analog preamps and compressors to satisfy even the most discerning ears. And if there’s a specific piece of gear you need that’s not in our collection, our extensive network of recording professionals ensures we can source it for you.
